Kabanshi Matungu is an Associate Research Consultant at March Associates. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Zambia. Kabanshi has extensive experience in conducting both qualitative and quantitative data collection, data analysis, literature review and monitoring and evaluation of project activities.
Kabanshi has worked on various assignments with organizations such as the Rural Finance Expansion Programme (RUFEP), Smallholder Agribusiness Promotion Programme (SAPP), Zambia Agricultural Research Institute (ZARI), The School of Public Health at the University of Zambia, Precise Research Solutions (PRS365), Palm Associates and Superior Milling Company Limited.
She has participated in different research studies in several fields including agriculture, climate change adaptation, rural finance, and health conducted in Zambia as research assistant. In terms of qualitative research skills, Kabanshi has experience conducting focus group discussions with project beneficiaries, and key informant interviews with key stakeholders. She is competent in Microsoft Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) and Statistical packages used for data analysis such as CSPro, STATA and SPSS. Kabanshi is a team player and is able to work well with others. She is skilled in facilitating trainings and/or meetings, note taking and report writing, and making presentations in a way that participants understand.
