Namakau Mukokanwa is a Research Associate at March Associates. She holds a BSc. Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University Zambia. She has almost 2 years of experience in applied research. Specifically, Namakau is a great team player and has been involved in several research projects including the 2022 Living Conditions Monitoring Survey to monitor the poverty levels in Zambia and the Zambia 2022 Census of population and housing both by the Zambia statistics Agency (ZAMSTATS); Supporting Women’s Livelihood Project Endline Survey undertaken by March Associates for the World Bank and the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services (MCDSS).
Namakau has also worked as a Data Entry Analyst at National Union for Small Scale Farmers Association of Zambia (NUSFAZ); as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Worked at Marina Meat and Fish Center; as a Research Intern at Palm Associates; and as transcriber at Right to care Zambia. Namakau has strong interest in both quantitative and qualitative research.
