Land O’ Lakes Venture37 and the International Livestock Research Institution (ILRI) contracted March Associates Limited in January 2024 to undertake the Poultry Rapid Assessment. Study activities involved the development of data collection tools (interview guides and questionnaires), programming of the quantitative questionnaire, interviews with 411 poultry-producing households, focus group discussions with poultry producer groups, key informant interviews with input providers, hatcheries, traders, and relevant government departments, transcribing qualitative interviews, data synthesis and analysis, and report writing. Data collection has been concluded, and the draft report has been submitted to the client.
